Jules Kounde has been in fine form and is set to be reward by Barcelona with a new contract.

Barcelona are planning to extend Jules Kounde’s contract until 2030. And offer the French defender a pay rise in order to fend off Chelsea’s interest in the player.

Kounde is currently under contract ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี until 2027, making him Barcelona’s fourth-highest earner. With the club planning to extend his contract until 2030, which would move him up to third on the list.

Chelsea are report set to make a €100m bid for Kounde this summer. As the Blues are concern about James Reece’s fitness.

However, German coach Hansi Flick has emphasised Kounde’s importance and sees the 26-year-old as an indispensable player for the Blaugrana. He has played in 21 of the club’s 23 La Liga games this season, with only Rafinha starting more (22).

Barcelona hope Kounde will look to do the same, with the incentive that he can slot back into playing at centre-back should he so wish coupled with his enjoyment of playing under Flick as well as his settled status in Spain.

The report adds that the only planned overhaul to Barcelona’s defence is the addition of Jonathan Tah on a free transfer from Bayer Leverkusen. The German is out of contract this summer and is expect to head to Spain at the potential expense of either Eric Garcia or Andreas Christensen.
